Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Justice Grant Reauthorization Act

To amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to reauthorize the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Grant Program of the Department of Justice.
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Justice Grant Reauthorization Act”.
2. Reauthorization
Section 1001(a)(27) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10261(a)(27)) is amended—
(1) by striking “$103,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and”; and
(2) by striking “2019 through 2023” and inserting “2026 through 2030”.
