R. 313 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES January 9, 2025 Mr. Pfluger introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce A BILLTo repeal the natural gas tax.1.Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Natural Gas Tax Repeal Act .2.RepealSection 136 of the Clean Air Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7436 )(relating to methane emissions and waste reduction incentive program for petroleum and natural gas systems) is repealed.3.RescissionThe unobligated balance of any amounts made available under section 136 of the Clean Air Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7436 )(as in effect on the day before the date of enactment of this Act) is rescinded.
