11 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes the following
12 measures related to firearms storage: to create a special fund that would offer
13 subsidies to Vermonters for the purpose of purchasing firearms storage
14 devices, to exempt all firearms storage devices from the Vermont sales tax, and
15 to require firearms dealers to include a trigger lock with each firearm the dealer
16 sells.
