8 Subject: Health; health equity; community health center pilot program
9 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to appropriate
10 $500,000.00 to the Department of Health for the purpose of establishing a
11 community health center pilot program that issues grants for the development
12 and provision of health and wellness programming and targeted services to
13 marginalized communities experiencing health disparities. It further proposes
14 to require the Department to seek and consider input from the Health Equity
15 Advisory Commission in the creation and administration of a community
16 health center pilot program.

18 It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
