1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for an accessible parking lot
1.3at the Cedar Creek Conservation Area in Anoka County; authorizing the sale and
1.4issuance of state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6Section 1. ANOKA COUNTY; CEDAR CREEK CONSERVATION AREA.
1.7Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $250,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund
1.8to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to Anoka County to construct an accessible parking
1.9lot in Oak Grove that is within the Cedar Creek Conservation Area. The parking lot will
1.10provide direct access to the Remember Them veterans memorial. This appropriation does
1.11not require a nonstate contribution.
1.12Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond
1.13proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of
1.14the state in an amount up to $250,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
1.15prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
1.16Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.
