7 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to require the
8 University of Vermont and the Vermont State Colleges Corporation to offer in-
9 state tuition rates to students who are not Vermont residents if the student is a
10 resident of a state that has banned diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in
11 its state funded postsecondary institutions.
12    An act relating to in-state tuition for non-Vermont residents who do not
13    have access to DEI programming in their home state public postsecondary
14    institutions
15 It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
