1		HOUSE RESOLUTION
2		    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3		Representatives wish to congratulate Sue Eberle on the
4		occasion of her retirement from the Northeastern Federation of
5		Labor; and
6		    WHEREAS, Sue Eberle has dedicated 29 years of service to
7		educators in Illinois and continues to work to improve the
8		education system in our state through her skill set and unique
9		life experience; and
10		    WHEREAS, Sue Eberle has consistently put others before
11		herself, including spending years working full time, nights,
12		and weekends, until a good-paying union job with the Lake
13		County Federation of Teachers allowed her to stay in education
14		while building for her family; and
15		    WHEREAS, Sue Eberle joined the Northeastern Federation of
16		Labor in 2009, eventually holding the position of treasurer,
17		where her accounting skills, attention to detail, and strong
18		code of ethics were instrumental in overhauling the
19		organization's financial operations, resulting in steady
20		growth and increased investment in the community; and
21		    WHEREAS, Because of Sue Eberle's ongoing commitment to

1		social good, the NEFL continues to make a positive impact on
2		local families and will continue to make a positive difference
3		in public education through her work in Lake County; and
4		    WHEREAS, Sue Eberle is a longtime resident of Spring Grove
5		and still lives in the house where she raised her children;
6		therefore, be it
7		    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
8		HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
9		we congratulate Sue Eberle on her retirement from the
10		Northeastern Federation of Labor, and we wish her the best in
11		all her future endeavors; and be it further
12		    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13		presented to Sue Eberle as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
