R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 89th
Texas Legislature, That Rule 5, Section 3, of the permanent rules of
the House of Representatives of the 89th Legislature is amended by
adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows:
(d-1) If a member is absent without leave for the purpose of
impeding the action of the house for eight or more days during a
called session of the legislature, the Committee on House
Administration may not disburse funds for the member's operating
budget.
