IA 119th CONGRESS 1st Session H. J. RES. 114 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES August 15, 2025 Mrs. Luna (for herself and Mr. Fine ) submitted the following joint resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform JOINT RESOLUTION
Extending the emergency determined by the President on August 11, 2025 in the Executive Order titled Declaring a crime emergency in the District of Columbia .
That
pursuant to section 740(d) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (sec. 1–207.40(d), D.C. Official Code), the emergency determined by the President on August 11, 2025 in the Executive Order titled Declaring a crime emergency in the District of Columbia is hereby extended until the President declares an end to such emergency.
