No. 4HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONWHEREAS, August 4, 2025, marked the 47th wedding anniversaryof Rickey and Anne Lowe, and this joyous event provides a fittingopportunity to reflect on their rewarding journey together ashusband and wife; andWHEREAS, Rickey Lowe and the former Anne Simonds met whileattending The University of Texas at Austin, and they were joined inmatrimony at a ceremony held in Houston in 1978; soon thereafter,they moved to Dallas, Mr. Lowe's hometown; deeply dedicated totheir Christian faith, they were blessed to adopt two children intotheir treasured family through Buckner Baptist Benevolences; andWHEREAS, Mr. Lowe enjoyed a rewarding career as a mainframecomputer programmer while Mrs. Lowe devoted herself to her home andfamily; following many happy years in the Carrollton community,they retired to Horseshoe Bay in 2020; andWHEREAS, The 47 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Lowe haveshared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love andcommitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all whoknow them; now, therefore, be itRESOLVED, That the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas,2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Rickey and Anne Lowe ontheir 47th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere bestwishes for continued happiness; and, be it furtherRESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution beprepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lowe as an expression of high regard bythe Texas House of Representatives and Senate.Craddick____________________________________________________________President of the SenateSpeaker of the HouseI certify that H.C.R.
