R. 5413 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 16, 2025 Ms. Tenney introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary A BILLTo deny pretrial release for certain individuals, and for other purposes.1.Short titleThis Act may be cited as the No Bail Post-Jail Act .2.Denial for pretrial release for prior incarcerationSection 3142(e) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:(4)A person shall be considered to pose a danger to the safety of the community and be ineligible for release if the judicial officer finds that the person—(A)is charged with a felony offense;(B)is an adult or a juvenile charged as an adult with regard to the offense; and(C)has a prior felony conviction for a crime of violence that resulted in the person serving not less than 30 days in a State or Federal correctional facility, not including any period of pretrial detention without conviction..
