BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That sections 341.28, 753.34, and 5120.6511 of 5
the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows: 6
Sec. 341.28. (A) As used in this section, "county 7
correctional facility" means a county jail, county workhouse, 8
minimum security jail, joint city and county workhouse, 9
municipal-county correctional center, multicounty-municipal 10
correctional center, municipal-county jail or workhouse, or 11
multicounty-municipal jail or workhouse. 12
(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 13
each year, each county correctional facility shall report to the 14
department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 15
outcome of each pregnant inmate who resided at the facility at 16
the conclusion of the pregnancy. 17
Sec. 753.34. (A) "Municipal correctional facility" means a 18
municipal jail, municipal workhouse, minimum security jail, 19

joint city and county workhouse, municipal-county correctional 20
center, multicounty-municipal correctional center, municipal- 21
county jail or workhouse, or multicounty-municipal jail or 22
workhouse. 23
(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 24
each year, each municipal correctional facility shall report to 25
the department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 26
outcome of each pregnant inmate who resided at the facility at 27
the conclusion of the pregnancy. 28
Sec. 5120.6511. (A) As used in this section, "state 29
correctional institution" has the same meaning as in section 30
2967.01 of the Revised Code. 31
(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 32
each year, each state correctional institution shall report to 33
the department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 34
outcome of each pregnant inmate in the custody of the department 35
who resided at the institution at the conclusion of the 36
pregnancy. 37

To enact sections 341.28, 753.34, and 5120.6511 of the Revised Code to require all inmate pregnancy outcomes to be reported to the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
