That sections 341.28, 753.34, and 5120.6511 of 5the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows: 6Sec. 341.28. (A) As used in this section, "county 7correctional facility" means a county jail, county workhouse, 8minimum security jail, joint city and county workhouse, 9municipal-county correctional center, multicounty-municipal 10correctional center, municipal-county jail or workhouse, or 11multicounty-municipal jail or workhouse. 12(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 13each year, each county correctional facility shall report to the 14department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 15outcome of each pregnant inmate who resided at the facility at 16the conclusion of the pregnancy. 17Sec. 753.34. (A) "Municipal correctional facility" means a 18municipal jail, municipal workhouse, minimum security jail, 19H. B. No. 542 Page 2As Introducedjoint city and county workhouse, municipal-county correctional 20center, multicounty-municipal correctional center, municipal- 21county jail or workhouse, or multicounty-municipal jail or 22workhouse. 23(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 24each year, each municipal correctional facility shall report to 25the department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 26outcome of each pregnant inmate who resided at the facility at 27the conclusion of the pregnancy. 28Sec. 5120.6511. (A) As used in this section, "state 29correctional institution" has the same meaning as in section 302967.01 of the Revised Code. 31(B) Not later than the thirty-first day of December of 32each year, each state correctional institution shall report to 33the department of rehabilitation and correction the pregnancy 34outcome of each pregnant inmate in the custody of the department 35who resided at the institution at the conclusion of the 36pregnancy. 37
To enact sections 341.28, 753.34, and 5120.6511 of the Revised Code to require all inmate pregnancy outcomes to be reported to the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
