7An Act relating to public health; prohibiting public
7entities and contractors from requiring COVID-19
8vaccinations or discriminating due to vaccination
8status; defining term; providing for codification;
9and declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13     SECTION 1.      NEW LAW       A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless
14
15 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
15
16     A.   It shall be unlawful for any federal or state agency, any
16
17 political subdivision, or any business under contract with a federal
17
18 or state agency or political subdivision to require any resident of
18
19 this state to submit to or receive a COVID-19 vaccination or any
19
20 variant thereof.   Additionally, no federal or state agency,
20
21 political subdivision, or business under contract with a federal or
21
22 state agency or political subdivision shall discriminate against any
22
23 resident of this state due to vaccination status.

24     B.   As used in this section, “political subdivision” means:

    1.    A municipality or county;
1

    2.    A school district board of education;
2
3
    3.    The board of regents or board of trustees of a state
3
4
 educational institution which is a member of The Oklahoma State
4
5
 System of Higher Education; or
5
6
    4.    Any other governmental or public entity located within this
6
7
 state.

8    SECTION 2.   It being immediately necessary for the preservation
8
9 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
9
10 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
10
11 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
