 I  119th CONGRESS  1st Session  H. R. 5876  IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES   October 31, 2025   Mr. Figures  (for himself,  Mr. Johnson of Georgia ,  Ms. Pou , and  Mr. Carson ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the  Committee on Oversight and Government Reform    A BILL
To provide for continuity in certain contracts during a lapse in appropriations, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Keep America Building Act  .
2.
Continuity of contracts
No Federal funds may be used to suspend, delay, or interrupt all or part of the work of a project under a contract during any lapse in appropriations or stop all or any part of the work agreed to in such contract.
