Lakesia CollinsSYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:Appropriates the sum of $2,100,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for a grant to Safer Pathways to support the Supportive Reentry Network Collaborative. Effective July 1, 2026.LRB104 17081 BAB 30498 bSB2847 LRB104 17081 BAB 30498 b1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,3 represented in the General Assembly:4 Section 5. The sum of $2,100,000, or so much thereof as may5 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to6 the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for a grant7 to Safer Pathways to support the Supportive Reentry Network8 Collaborative, an integrated network that unifies clinical9 care, behavioral health, housing, employment, identification10 restoration, legal benefit access, and care coordination into11 one accountable system that connects people who are 90 days12 pre-release through 12 months and beyond of post-release from13 incarceration to health care, behavioral health, stabilization14 supports, employment and housing using close-loop referrals,15 shared metrics, and a unified data system.16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,17 2026.
