SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
    Appropriates the sum of $2,100,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for a grant to Safer Pathways to support the Supportive Reentry Network Collaborative. Effective July 1, 2026.

1		    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2		    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		    Section 5. The sum of $2,100,000, or so much thereof as may
5		be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
6		the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for a grant
7		to Safer Pathways to support the Supportive Reentry Network
8		Collaborative, an integrated network that unifies clinical
9		care, behavioral health, housing, employment, identification
10		restoration, legal benefit access, and care coordination into
11		one accountable system that connects people who are 90 days
12		pre-release through 12 months and beyond of post-release from
13		incarceration to health care, behavioral health, stabilization
14		supports, employment and housing using close-loop referrals,
15		shared metrics, and a unified data system.
16		    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
17		2026.
