sb162/enrolled.txtSB162 ENROLLED1 SB1622 NR6QDJJ-23 By Senator Albritton4 RFD: Finance and Taxation General Fund5 First Read: 14-Jan-26Page 0SB162 Enrolled1 Enrolled, An Act,234To make an appropriation of $169,633 from the State5 General Fund to the Coalition Against Domestic Violence for6 the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027, to require an7 operations plan and an audited financial statement prior to8 the release of any funds, and to require quarterly and end of9 the year performance reports.10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:11Section 1. For the fiscal year ending September 30,12 2027, there is hereby appropriated to the Coalition Against13 Domestic Violence from the State General Fund the sum of14 $169,633. In addition, the appropriation made herein shall be15 budgeted and allotted pursuant to the Budget Management Act16 and Article 4 of Title 41 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, and17 specifically Section 41-4-93, Section 41-4-95 and Section18 41-4-96.19Section 2. Prior to the release of any funds20 appropriated under this bill for fiscal year 2027, an21 operations plan for fiscal year 2027 and an audited financial22 statement for all operations during fiscal year 2025 must be23 forwarded to the Director of Finance. It is the intent to24 release fiscal year 2027 funds following receipt of these25 reports.26Section 3. In addition, quarterly reports for fiscal27 year 2027 shall be made to the Director of Finance relating to28 planned expenditures and accomplishments. An end of yearPage 1SB162 Enrolled29 performance report for the fiscal year 2027 shall be made to30 the Director of Finance stating the work accomplished and31 services provided and the costs of accomplishing the work and32 providing the services, citing meaningful measures of program33 effectiveness and costs, as is required for state agencies in34 Code of Alabama 1975, Section 41-19-11. The Director of35 Finance shall forward a copy of all required reports to the36 Legislative Council in a timely manner.37Section 4.
