sb3670/introduced-in-senate.txt119 S3670 IS: End Welfare for Noncitizens ActU.S. Senate2026-01-15text/xmlENPursuant to Title 17 Section 105 of the United States Code, this file is not subject to copyright protection and is in the public domain.II 119th CONGRESS 2d Session S. 3670 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES January 15, 2026 Mr. Paul (for himself, Mr. Cassidy , and Ms. Lummis ) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance A BILLTo prohibit the use of funds to provide benefits to refugees, asylees, and illegal immigrants.1.Short titleThis Act may be cited as the End Welfare for Noncitizens Act .2.Prohibition on use of funds to provide benefits to refugees, asylees, and illegal immigrantsNotwithstanding any other provision of law, no funds shall be appropriated or otherwise made available to provide benefits under the temporary assistance for needy families program established under part A of title IV of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 601 et seq. ), the Medicaid program under title XIX of that Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq. ), or the supplemental nutrition assistance program established under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2077 et seq. ), or to provide any other Federal benefit (including cash and tax benefits), subsidy, or service, to any refugee or asylee or any alien who is present in the United States without legal status.
