Section 12-18-166 is added to the Code of24 Alabama 1975, to read as follows:25§12-18-16626(a) No individual may participate in both a27 supernumerary circuit clerk program and the Employees’28 Retirement System based on the same service.Page 1SB176 INTRODUCED29(b) An individual who independently qualifies for a30 supernumerary circuit clerk program and the Employees'31 Retirement System based on separate years of service may32 participate in both programs.33Section 2.
