APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars16 ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the[bracketed material] = delete17 department of health for expenditure in fiscal years 2027 andunderscored material = new18 2028 for mosquito surveillance, prevention and mitigation. The19 department of health may use up to one million five hundred20 thousand dollars ($1,500,000) to provide grants to local21 governments and state educational institutions enumerated in22 Article 12, Section 11 of the constitution of New Mexico for23 mosquito surveillance, prevention and mitigation projects. Any24 unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 202825 shall revert to the general fund..232776.1
