1A BILL FOR AN ACT
2 Relating to housing development opportunities conditioned upon land conservation.
3 Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
4      SECTION 1. The Department of Land Conservation and Development shall study housing
5 development opportunities conditioned upon land conservation. The department shall submit
6 a report in the manner provided by ORS 192.245, and may include recommendations for leg-
7 islation, to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to land use no later
8 than September 15, 2027.
9      SECTION 2. Section 1 of this 2026 Act is repealed on January 2, 2028.
