11 MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE
12 DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR CONSTRUCTION,
13 EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS FOR A REGIONAL EMERGENCY OPERATIONS
14 CENTER IN LOS ALAMOS COUNTY.

16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

17 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five million dollars
underscored material = new
18 ($5,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local
19 government division of the department of finance and
20 administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2026 and 2027
21 for construction, equipment and furnishings for a regional
22 emergency operations center in Los Alamos county. Any
23 unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027
24 shall revert to the general fund.
