sb26/chaptered.txt2026 Regular Session ENROLLEDACT No. 232SENATE BILL NO. 26BY SENATOR MCMATH1AN ACT2 To repeal R.S. 40:2116(B)(5) and 2159, relative to opioid treatment programs; to repeal the3facility need review requirements for opioid treatment programs; and to provide for4related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6Section 1. R.S. 40:2116(B)(5) and 2159 are hereby repealed.7Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not8 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature9 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If10 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become11 effective on the day following such approval.PRESIDENT OF THE SENATESPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVESGOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF LOUISIANAAPPROVED:Page 1 of 1Coding: Words which are struck through are deletions from existing law;words in boldface type and underscored are additions.
