Provides that "stakeholder" includes any organization that is a nonprofit organization that represents or serves at least 10% of either participants or annuitants of the System and whose primary purpose is as a membership organization serving either participants, annuitants, or both. Provides that the Board of Trustees of the System shall make an annual report available to stakeholders that includes a list of: (1) the name of each annuitant, the annuitant's last employer, and the zip code associated with the annuitant's address on file; and (2) the name of each active participant, the participant's current employer, and a zip code associated with the participant's address on file. Requires the report to be delivered electronically to stakeholders on August 1 of each year.LRB104 18618 RPS 32061 bA BILL FORHB5134 LRB104 18618 RPS 32061 b1 AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,3 represented in the General Assembly:4 Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by adding5 Section 15-177.7 as follows:6 (40 ILCS 5/15-177.7 new)7 Sec. 15-177.7. Annual report to stakeholders.8 (a) In this Section, "stakeholder" includes any9 organization that is a nonprofit organization that represents10 or serves at least 10% of either participants or annuitants of11 the System and whose primary purpose is as a membership12 organization serving either participants, annuitants, or both.13 (b) The Board shall make an annual report available to14 stakeholders that includes a list of: (1) the name of each15 annuitant, the annuitant's last employer, and the zip code16 associated with the annuitant's address on file; and (2) the17 name of each active participant, the participant's current18 employer, and a zip code associated with the participant's19 address on file.
