Karina VillaSYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:Appropriates $15,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for continued funding to the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. Effective July 1, 2026.LRB104 19619 HLH 33068 bSB3519 LRB104 19619 HLH 33068 b1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,3 represented in the General Assembly:4 Section 5. The amount of $15,000,000 or so much thereof as5 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public6 Health from the General Revenue Fund for continued funding to7 the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics for8 grants and other expenses of free and charitable clinics to9 provide care or make referrals for uninsured or underinsured10 people living with acute and chronic health issues, including,11 but not limited to, medical health care, behavioral health12 care, oral health care, outreach, health education, screening13 and testing, medication and related expenses, disease14 prevention, and vaccinations.15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,16 2026.
Appropriates $15,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for continued funding to the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. Effective July 1, 2026.
