SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
    Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to counties with court-based eviction early resolution programs and associated legal assistance, mediation, and other services. Effective July 1, 2026.

1		    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2		    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		    Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount
5		as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6		Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to
7		counties with court-based eviction early resolution programs
8		and associated legal assistance, mediation, and other
9		services.
10		    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
11		2026.
