SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
    Appropriates $20,000,000 to the State Board of Education for the purpose of providing a grant for to Afterschool for Children and Teens Now (ACT Now) Coalition to support full-service community schools. Effective July 1, 2026.

1		    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2		    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		    Section 5. The amount of $20,000,000, or so much of that
5		amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6		Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the purpose of
7		providing a grant for to Afterschool for Children and Teens
8		Now (ACT Now) Coalition to support full-service community
9		schools.
10		    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
11		2026.
