  To enact section 2901.14 of the Revised Code  1
  regarding substance use disorder and mental  2
  health treatment for criminal defendants.  3
 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
     Section 1. That section 2901.14 of the Revised Code be  4
enacted to read as follows:  5
     Sec. 2901.14. Notwithstanding any other section of the  6
Revised Code to the contrary, no judge, including a judge with a       7
specialized docket for the treatment of substance use disorder  8
or a mental health condition, shall require a defendant to  9
receive treatment for a substance use disorder or a mental  10
health condition at a for-profit entity or nonprofit entity,  11
including a faith-based entity, based solely on the entity's  12
for-profit or nonprofit status.  13
