No. 6802025-2026Representative WilliamsTo enact section 2901.14 of the Revised Code 1regarding substance use disorder and mental 2health treatment for criminal defendants. 3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:Section 1. That section 2901.14 of the Revised Code be 4enacted to read as follows: 5Sec. 2901.14. Notwithstanding any other section of the 6Revised Code to the contrary, no judge, including a judge with a 7specialized docket for the treatment of substance use disorder 8or a mental health condition, shall require a defendant to 9receive treatment for a substance use disorder or a mental 10health condition at a for-profit entity or nonprofit entity, 11including a faith-based entity, based solely on the entity's 12for-profit or nonprofit status. 13
To enact section 2901.14 of the Revised Code regarding substance use disorder and mental health treatment for criminal defendants.
