AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO INCREASE MEDICAID RATES
FOR PRIVATE PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of
2 Social Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June
3 30, 2027, to increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for private providers
4 in accordance with phase one of the Medicaid rate study.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase funding for Medicaid rates in accordance with the Medicaid
rate study.
