AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR GRANTS TO MUNICIPALITIES
FOR EARLY VOTING COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That additional funds be appropriated to the Office of Policy and
2 Management, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30,
3 2027, for grants to municipalities to assist with mitigating increased
4 costs to municipalities in administering early voting.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist municipalities with mitigating increased costs in administering
early voting.
