AN ACT EXEMPTING OVERTIME WAGES, TIPS OR GRATUITIES AND
SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt
2 overtime wages, tips or gratuities and Social Security benefits from the
3 personal income tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt overtime wages, tips or gratuities and Social Security benefits
from the personal income tax.
