 AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR
 UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS AND HUSKY C ASSET LIMITS.
 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
 Assembly convened:
1  That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to (1) require an
2      undocumented resident to have (A) lived in the state for not less than
3      one year, and (B) applied for legal immigration status to be eligible for
4      medical assistance, and (2) increase HUSKY C asset limits to five
5      thousand dollars for an unmarried individual and seven thousand five
6      hundred dollars for a married couple.
       Statement of Purpose:
       To ensure that state medical assistance is targeted to the most vulnerable
       residents.
