PEMBERTON, 139th Dist.AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO IMPROVE DAMS,CULVERTS, BRIDGES AND WATERWAYS IN THE TOWN OFLEDYARD.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in GeneralAssembly convened:1 That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the2 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the3 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate4 seven million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the5 Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of6 improving the dams, culverts, bridges and waterways on Long Pond,7 Bush Pond and other related waterways in the town of Ledyard.Statement of Purpose:To provide funding to improve the dams, culverts, bridges andwaterways on Long Pond, Bush Pond and other related waterways inthe town of Ledyard.LCO No. 796 1 of 1
