I 119th CONGRESS 2d Session H. R. 7451 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 9, 2026 Mr. Steube introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary A BILL
To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to discontinue the H–1B program, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Ending Exploitative Imported Labor Exemptions Act or the EXILE Act .
2.
Discontinuation of H–1B program
Section 214(g)(1)(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1184 ) is amended—
(1)
in clause (vi), by striking and at the end;
(2)
in clause (vii), by striking ; or and inserting through fiscal year 2026; and ; and
(3)
by inserting after clause (vii) the following:
(viii)
0 in fiscal year 2027 and each succeeding fiscal year; or
