BUMGARDNER, 41st Dist.AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FORCONSTRUCTION OF THE USS GROTON SAIL MONUMENT.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in GeneralAssembly convened:1That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the2 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the3 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate4 three hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by5 the Department of Economic and Community Development for the6 purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the USS Groton Sail Foundation7 for the construction of the USS Groton Sail Monument.Statement of Purpose:To provide funding for the construction of the USS Groton SailMonument.LCO No. 965 1 of 1
