8 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to authorize the
9 Vermont Economic Development Authority, after consultation with, and with
10 deference to, the Vermont Housing Finance Agency on applications that are
11 eligible for financing from both the Authority and the Agency, to jointly
12 finance with a financing lender multiunit housing developments of five or
13 more units when requested by a financing lender, except that the Authority
14 shall not finance housing developments that utilize funding issued by the
15 Agency.

18 It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
