Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to authorize the
Vermont Economic Development Authority, after consultation with, and with
deference to, the Vermont Housing Finance Agency on applications that are
eligible for financing from both the Authority and the Agency, to jointly
finance with a financing lender multiunit housing developments of five or
more units when requested by a financing lender, except that the Authority
shall not finance housing developments that utilize funding issued by the
Agency.
