This
bill
relates
to
licensing
requirements
of
private

investigative
agencies
and
security
agents.

The
bill
provides
that
a
license
or
renewal
will
not
be
10
issued
unless
the
applicant
has
not
been
convicted
of
a
felony
11
or
aggravated
misdemeanor
within
the
ten
years
preceding
the
12
application.
Current
law
provides
that
a
license
or
renewal
13
will
not
be
issued
if
the
applicant
has
ever
been
convicted
of
14
a
felony
or
an
aggravated
misdemeanor.
