Enrolled, An Act,
COMMENDING BOAZ HIGH SCHOOL ON WINNING THE 2026 NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIP.
WHEREAS, commendations and congratulations are herein
extended to the Boaz High School Cheer Team on winning the
2026 National High School Cheerleading Championship in the
Division II Varsity Coed Non-Tumbling Competition; and
WHEREAS, the prestigious competition was hosted by
the Universal Cheerleaders Association as part of the
National School Spirit Championship, and was held on
February 1, 2026, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
at Walt Disney World® Resort in Osceola County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, under the leadership of Head Coach Tiffany
Rhoden and Coach Leah Milam, the Boaz Pirates Varsity Cheer
Team delivered a top-notch performance, adding to its
impressive resume that already includes 16 State
Championships, 30 Regional Titles, and now four National
Championships: 1996, 1997, 2002, and 2026; and
WHEREAS, Coach Rhoden, who has led the program since
2006, has guided the Pirates to nine state titles and now
the school's first national cheerleading championship in 24
years; and
WHEREAS, the outstanding members of the 2026
championship squad are KalliRay Collins, Grady Quisenberry,
Lilibeth Bailey, Lilly Cornutt, Leah Fowler, Kymber Leath,
Lily Pearce, Lydia Whitfield, Valentin Alderete, Brailei

Davis, Avah Garrard, Emma Lopez, Bella Oaks, Averi Rogers,
Treazure Seay, Raylee Tucker, Harper Walls, Chloe Bishop,
Avery Brown, Madi Hicks, Allie Kate Trussell, Mylee Elliott,
Peyton Manders, and Hadley Walls; and
WHEREAS, with their exceptional abilities and
unwavering commitment to excellence, the Boaz High School
Cheer Team is the source of justifiable pride to their
school, and their success in national competition reflects
honor upon the entire State of Alabama; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the Boaz High School Cheer
Team is honored and commended for winning the 2026 National
High School Cheerleading Championship in the Division II
Varsity Coed Non-Tumbling Competition, and this resolution
is offered in highest tribute to them, along with heartiest
congratulations and best wishes for the future.
