1AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact the heading of R.S. 56:305 and to repeal R.S. 56:305(C)(2), relative
3to commercial fishing gear; to provide for nonresident commercial gear licenses; to
4provide for prohibitions; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6Section 1. The heading of R.S. 56:305 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as
7 follows:
8§305. Commercial gear license; issuance to certain nonresidents prohibited;
9moratorium on certain new gear licenses; renewals

11Section 2. R.S. 56:305(C)(2) is hereby repealed.
