1AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 23:1034.2(C)(1) and to repeal R.S. 23:1294 and R.S.
336:309(B)(2), relative to the Workers' Compensation Advisory Council; to repeal
4provisions relative to membership, appointment by the governor and confirmation
5by the Senate, reporting and policy recommendation requirements, and immunity
6from liability; to require the assistant secretary of Louisiana Works to reassess the
7workers' compensation medical reimbursement schedule; to provide for certain
8requirements relative to the reimbursement schedule; and to provide for related
9matters.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
11Section 1. R.S. 23:1034.2(C)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
12§1034.2. Reimbursement schedule

14C.(1)(a) The reimbursement schedule shall include charges limited to the
15mean of the usual and customary charges for such care, services, treatment, drugs,
16and supplies. Except as provided for in Subparagraph (b) of this Paragraph, any

19(b) The assistant secretary shall reassess the reimbursement schedule
20provided for in this Section and shall promulgate and implement any necessary

3Section 2. R.S. 23:1294 and R.S. 36:309(B)(2) are hereby repealed.
