1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to transportation; modifying prior appropriation for Progress Parkway
1.3construction project in the city of Eveleth; amending Laws 2023, chapter 68, article
1.41, section 17, subdivision 17.
1.5    BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6Section 1. Laws 2023, chapter 68, article 1, section 17, subdivision 17, is amended to
1.7    read:
1.8Subd. 17. Progress Parkway; Eveleth. $6,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated
1.9    from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for one or more grants to St.
1.10   Louis County for predesign, design, engineering, environmental analysis and mitigation,
1.11   land acquisition, construction, and reconstruction of Progress Parkway to provide for
1.12   intersection improvements and road realignment and extension from marked U.S. Highway
1.13   53 and St. Louis County State-Aid Highway 142 to marked Trunk Highway 37 and Station
1.14   44 Road in the city of Eveleth. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June
1.15   30, 2027 2030.
