A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION honoring Dave Bonde for exemplary service to
South Dakota.
WHEREAS, Dave Bonde, as executive director of the Fort Pierre Development Corporation,
has supported local businesses, attracted new investment, and promoted sustainable
development throughout central South Dakota, demonstrating a deep commitment to the
economic growth and vitality of the region; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bonde has served with distinction as sergeant-at-arms of the South Dakota
Senate, providing dedicated support and service to the legislative process; and
WHEREAS, under Mr. Bonde's guidance, the Fort Pierre Development Corporation has
facilitated community events, business expansions, ribbon-cuttings, and tours that showcase
Fort Pierre's potential; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bonde's tireless efforts have reflected the best traditions of public service
and community leadership;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundred First Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that Dave Bonde's life achievements helped shape the future of our
communities by empowering citizens with opportunities for growth and success.
