2A resolution congratulating Naples Comprehensive
3Health on the occasion of its 70th anniversary and
4celebrating its decades of services to the Naples
5community and Southwest Florida.

7WHEREAS, in March 1956, a determined group of physicians,
8nurses, volunteers, and community leaders united around a shared
9belief that the people of Naples deserved exceptional health
10care, and this group opened the doors to what would become
11Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH), establishing not merely a
12hospital, but a foundation for quality, compassionate care in
13Southwest Florida, and
14WHEREAS, what began as a single community hospital has,
15over the course of seven decades, grown into a comprehensive,
16nationally recognized nonprofit health system serving residents
17and visitors throughout Southwest Florida, and
18WHEREAS, throughout its 70-year history, NCH has
19continually expanded access to care, invested in state-of-the
20art diagnostic and surgical technologies, recruited nationally
21respected physicians and clinical leaders, and strengthened
22academic and research collaborations to elevate the quality and
23accessibility of care in the region, and
24WHEREAS, NCH has developed centers of excellence in
25advanced cardiovascular and stroke care; orthopedic, pediatric,
26and oncology services; and a wide range of specialty services
27designed to meet the evolving needs of patients and families,
28and
29WHEREAS, in recent years, NCH has accelerated its
30transformation by modernizing facilities, enhancing care
31coordination, broadening specialty services, and building
32systems designed to serve both current and future generations,
33earning national recognition and reinforcing its standing as a
34trusted provider of high-quality care, and
35WHEREAS, for 70 years, generations of nurses, physicians,
36therapists, technicians, administrators, support staff, and
37volunteers have shaped NCH through their expertise, integrity,
38and compassion, fostering a culture in which clinical excellence
39and human connection go hand in hand, and
40WHEREAS, families throughout the community have turned to
41NCH in moments of uncertainty and entrusted its dedicated teams
42with their most important health care decisions, reflecting deep
43and enduring trust, and
44WHEREAS, as a nonprofit health care system, NCH’s strength
45has always been rooted not only in clinical excellence, but also
46in the generosity and philanthropic support of donors whose
47contributions have expanded programs, advanced technology,
48modernized facilities, and ensured continued access to high
49quality care, and
50WHEREAS, reaching 70 years of continuous service represents
51a significant milestone that reflects resilience, adaptability,
52and an unwavering commitment to those served, and
53WHEREAS, as NCH marks this milestone anniversary, it honors
54the vision of its founders, recognizes the extraordinary
55contributions of its current and past team members, and looks
56ahead with purpose, committed to evolving with the changing
57landscape of health care, guided by innovation, driven by
58quality, and united in its mission to serve the community, NOW,

63That the Florida Senate hereby congratulates Naples
64Comprehensive Health on the occasion of its 70th anniversary,
65celebrates its decades of service and excellence, and expresses
66profound gratitude for its steadfast commitment to the health
67and well-being of the Naples community and Southwest Florida.
68BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate commends the
69leadership, medical professionals, staff, volunteers, and
70supporters of NCH for building and sustaining an organization
71that stands 70 years strong and is positioned to serve patients
72and families for generations to come.
