Minnesota Statutes 2025 Supplement, section 124D.901, subdivision 3, is1.8 amended to read:1.9Subd. 3. Student support personnel aid. (a) The initial student support personnel aid1.10 for an independent or special school district equals the greater of the student support1.11 personnel allowance times the adjusted pupil units at the district for the current fiscal year1.12 or $40,000. The initial student support personnel aid for a charter school equals the greater1.13 of the student support personnel allowance times the adjusted pupil units at the charter1.14 school for the current fiscal year or $20,000. Aid under this paragraph must be reserved in1.15 a fund balance that, beginning in fiscal year 2025, may not exceed the greater of the aid1.16 entitlement in the prior fiscal year or the fund balance in the prior fiscal year.1.17(b) The cooperative student support personnel aid for an independent or special school1.18 district that is a member of an intermediate school district or other cooperative unit that1.19 serves students equals the greater of the cooperative student support allowance times the1.20 adjusted pupil units at the district for the current fiscal year or $40,000. If a district is a1.21 member of more than one cooperative unit that serves students, the revenue must be allocated1.22 among the cooperative units. Aid under this paragraph must not exceed actual expenditures.Section 1. 102/25/26 REVISOR CR/BH 26-07478 as introduced2.1 (c) The student support personnel allowance equals $17.08 for fiscal year 2025, $30.052.2 and $48.73 for fiscal years year 2026 and 2027, and $34.32 for fiscal year 2028 and later.2.3 (d) The cooperative student support allowance equals $0.85 for fiscal year 2025 and2.4 $1.60 $2.44 for fiscal year 2026 and later.2.5 EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.2.6 Sec. 2. Laws 2025, First Special Session chapter 10, article 3, section 15, subdivision 13,2.7 is amended to read:2.8 Subd. 13. Student support personnel aid.
