1.3in the paid leave program; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
1.4chapter 268B.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6Section 1. [268B.101] EMPLOYEE OPT-OUT.
1.7An employee may opt out of participation in the family or medical benefit program
1.8under this chapter by submitting a form to the commissioner electing to opt out of
1.9participation. The commissioner must create and make available in hard copy and online a
1.10form for employees subject to this chapter to use in opting out of participation in either the
1.11family or medical benefit program, or both programs.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.
