1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5Section 1. TASK FORCE TO IMPROVE VETERANS' ACCESS TO MENTAL
1.6HEALTH SERVICES IN RURAL AREAS.
1.7The commissioner of veterans affairs must convene a task force to improve veterans'
1.8access to mental health services in rural areas. The task force must consider and make
1.9recommendations regarding issues relating to veterans mental health.
1.10Sec. 2. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS; APPROPRIATION.
1.11$....... in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
1.12veterans affairs to administer the task force under section 1. The base for this appropriation
1.13is $....... in fiscal year 2028 and $....... in fiscal year 2029.
