No. 459003/23/2026 Authored by Igo and DotsethThe bill was read for the first time and referred to the Committee on Capital Investment1.1A bill for an act1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements to municipal1.3infrastructure in the city of Tamarack; authorizing the sale and issuance of state1.4bonds.1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:1.6Section 1. TAMARACK; MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE.1.7Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $2,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund1.8to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Tamarack to design, engineer,1.9construct, and equip new and replacement items of aging and failing municipal infrastructure.1.10This appropriation includes money for improvements to and replacement of the wastewater1.11treatment and collection system and for street reconstruction associated with the project.1.12Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond1.13proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of1.14the state in an amount up to $2,000,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect1.15prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota1.16Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.1.17EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.Section 1. 1
