1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to aid
2     in carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred
3     Ninth Legislature, Second Session, 2026.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1Section 1.   There is hereby appropriated (1) $-0- from the General
2  Fund for FY2026-27 and (2) $-0- from the General Fund for FY2027-28 to
3  the Department of Health and Human Services, for Program 33, to aid in
4  carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred Ninth
5  Legislature, Second Session, 2026.
6Total   expenditures   for   permanent    and   temporary   salaries   and    per
7  diems from funds appropriated in this section shall not exceed $-0- for
8  FY2026-27 or $-0- for FY2027-28.
9Sec. 2.   There is hereby appropriated (1) $-0- from the General Fund
10  for FY2026-27 and (2) $-0- from the General Fund for FY2027-28 to the
11  Department of Health and Human Services, for Program 348, to aid in
12  carrying out the provisions of Legislative Bill 958, One Hundred Ninth
13  Legislature, Second Session, 2026.
14There is included in the appropriation to this program for FY2026-27
15  $-0- General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for such
16  purpose. There is included in the appropriation to this program for
17  FY2027-28 $-0- General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for
18  such purpose.
19No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems
20 for   state   employees   shall    be   made   from   funds   appropriated   in    this
21 section.
