APPROPRIATIONS; IGNITE BUSINESSWOMEN INVESTMENT1.6GROUP FOUNDATION.1.7(a) $1,400,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the1.8commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Ignite1.9Businesswomen Investment Group Foundation (IBWIG Foundation) to establish a women1.10entrepreneurs access to capital and business development fund. Money appropriated under1.11this paragraph may be used to provide working capital, capacity-building grants, and1.12low-interest loans. IBWIG Foundation must prioritize women entrepreneurs in underserved1.13and economically disadvantaged communities to conduct the activities under this paragraph.1.14This is a onetime appropriation.1.15(b) $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner1.16of employment and economic development for a grant to IBWIG Foundation to provide1.17capacity building and business development support for women entrepreneurs. Money1.18appropriated under this paragraph must be used to provide:1.19(1) business planning, leadership development, financial literacy, technology training,1.20and marketing support; and1.21(2) grants to community-based organizations specializing in women-focused1.22entrepreneurship support. This is a onetime appropriation.Section 1. 1
