1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Food is the substance by which life is sustained;
3 and
4 WHEREAS, The type, quality, and amount of food that
5 individuals consume each day plays a vital role in their
6 overall health and physical fitness; and
7 WHEREAS, There is a continuing need for nutrition
8 education and a wide-scale effort to enhance healthy eating
9 practices; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
11 HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12 we declare March 2026 as Nutrition Month in the State of
13 Illinois; and be it further
14 RESOLVED, That we encourage all citizens to support
15 Nutrition Month and to consider their nutrition and the
16 nutrition of others in the hope of achieving optimum health
17 for both today and tomorrow.
