Document has been reformatted to meet World Wide Web specifications.)A house RESOLUTIONto remember and celebrate the life of Dale JohnsonMoore and to extend the deepest sympathy to her large and loving family andmany friends.Whereas, the members ofthe South Carolina House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn ofthe passing of Dale Johnson Moore on Monday, March 16, 2026; andWhereas, born inAugusta, Georgia to parents Eddie and Doris Williams Johnson on November 9,1951; andWhereas, she was thedevoted and beloved wife of Mr. Tommy Moore for fifty-five years, sharing withhim a life marked by steadfast love, partnership, and companionship; andWhereas, a dedicated civicleader, Mrs. Moore was a constant and cheerful presence in the Clearwatercommunity, most notably through her involvement with Valley Recreation, whereshe generously gave her time and could always be found on the sidelines,enthusiastically supporting not only her own children but countless others; andWhereas, a devoutChristian, she was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. Herlife was a reflection of her deep faith and her belief that every child is agift from God, a sentiment beautifully captured on a plaque at Helping Hands inAiken. She did not just speak those words, she lived them daily, pouring herheart into being a loving and supportive mama and grandma; andWhereas, Mrs. Moore hada gift for bringing smiles to those around her. Her humor was effortless, andher laughter unforgettable. Quiet in nature but abundant in generosity, shegave selflessly and loved deeply. She embodied the Fruit of the Spirit - love,joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, andself-control - and her life stands as a lasting and powerful testament to thosevirtues; andWhereas, Mrs. Moore waspreceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dickie Johnson; andWhereas, Mrs. Mooreleaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Tommy; her sons anddaughters-in-law, Baylen and Donna Moore, and Brent and Kristi Moore; herbrother, Alvin Johnson; her beloved cousin, Becky Watts; and her treasuredgrandchildren, Luke, Rhett, Spencer, Bennett, Grayson, and Lindsey, each ofwhom brought her immeasurable joy and pride; andWhereas, the members ofthe South Carolina House of Representatives are grateful for the life andlegacy of Mrs. Dale Johnson Moore and for the example of kindness and serviceto others that she set for all who knew her.
